I saw one day my face
In a choked drain’s helplessness
An image of dark
Behind a flashy mask
Floating outer filth
And hiding plenty of sludge.
Then clapped my sorrow
Lighted the hopeless despair
Danced enough
To every beat of wariness
At last could loosen my tied hair
The stillness within had just paused the fair.
Once I gifted my mountain of gloom and grief
To the posey horizon,
Muddy coat of hatred to accepting ocean
I could raise my clean hands
Beneath my shadow to the rising sun.
Unbolting now my shut door
Springing for a bounteous continuity
Winged my unstable feet
From a single dot ready to draw a line infinite.
