When and from where
One took off
On and over
Summers and winters
Showers and sunshine
Woods and desert
Thorns and petals
A teen tale
Or a salt and pepper’s take
Told and untold
It is like walking barefoot
On dew soaked green lawns
Inhaling one’s aloneness
In the duality of
Stillness and movement.
Photographs on any wall
Walk on edge of parapet
Fateful decision
Broken vows
Wet eyes
Never crowded around,
Endless silence
Spoke million words
Enchanting presence
Of your absence
Graced
Nonexistent spring
Hope still watered
The dead plant
To trace a twig
On one fine morning.
Remembering you
Is not the final act
Nor the story ends there,
Pages flap
Stepping on the foot marks
I get back into the lost track
Grasping the languages of
Icy night melting
To a misty dawn
Inaugurating visibility
Ever flowing fountain’s murmur
Through hills and plane
Cool summer breeze
Tapping every door
Search continues.
