Painting a lie

An ambitious canvas

An adventurous palate

A trembling brush

Some unsure fingers

Ready with splash of tricky hue

To paint an empire of lie.

Unseen grin on the face of pink

Ruins the pathos of blatant red

Stroke of green

Peeping through ajar winter

Has it lost it’s sheen

Yellow the guarding wall paints wise

Knows black spot where to hide

Line of grey entering tunnel door

The unclear optimism of blue and white

An alert move of deceitful purple

What would be chosen

For my pain’s valour!

Random strokes are heading to

Mend a cracked blue sky

Flash fragile rainbows and

Wing caterpillars to fly

Trace my dummy’s lost whereabouts

And set my broken dreams

Cleanse my blood stream

Unveil fears of future in me.

I enter into an abstract paint’s den

Entice my living self

Kiss my lost present and

Build the broken past

In my life’s small note book

I draw a pair of turtle and hare

To win and loose thousand races

When I enjoy my cosy stay

In the heaven of dead desires.
