Beyond the Sky

At last I have touched the sky
No more to walk on an empty road
Leading to a fort of dismay
My hands are full of colour blue
The returned joy
I’m mounting the silvery clouds
Can float as I wish
From one star to another,
When there is no rule book
Life wanders far and wide
Adorns itself
With fragrant white flowers
Right in the midnight,
Wakes up with the golden sun
Wiping out darkness’ plight,
As naughty as wind is
Knocks on the closed doors
of moonstruck lovers
And never minds to be a falling leaf
Gravitating towards ground reality.

No I don’t wish to start off
On the wrong foot again!
Not turning back to hear
The chorus of despair
Of bleeding hearts
Non harmonious steps of
Marching skeletons,
Ringing of the bell
pulled by everyday’s sin bloomed
In our much cared gardens.

Chased the uncertainty away
Learnt to dream and dare
The thunderous night
Does no more scare
I have broken the latch of the cage
And unleashed my final wishes
Put my totality to rest
In the wild cave I built
Beyond the blue sky.
