The mirror in me
————————-

The mirror in me
Can digest the forbidden apple
Can drape her in the red velvet
Myriad of wishes,
Hardly I reach
The reflection of my invisible wait
A dash of stoic choices
Impulsive promises,but it can.
It stands just right in front of me
To testify my abundant unfairness
Negligible dose of righteousness.

Replicating my acts and hick ups,
The mirror in me walks with
A heavy bag of judgements
Not letting in myself to deviate
Alliances with the best enemy
And the worst company
Inside the album of my multiple images
Loyal wounds accumulate
Overeager contents wake up
In midnight’s lamented dreams,
Flashes of un-happenings
Throwback pictures
No more hide outs for
Old acquaintances,
Endlessly rewrite the past,
Everything repeats itself.

To remove the stain of tears
I touch my eyes and
The mirror harboured in me
Gracefully carries it’s poignant defeat
To treacherous smiles and
Travesty of trust
The silent truth watches me
throughout my journey of
Being scarred to whole
In the mirror in me.
